When your staff already take them down

Some facilities prefer to keep the ladder work in house. Their own Environmental Services or maintenance staff take the curtains off the ceiling track on their own timetable, and then face the next question: where do they go, and who brings them back?

Pick Up Take Back answers that. You bag the curtains you have already removed and we collect them. There is no installer in your rooms and no change to how your team schedules the take-down.

It is also where Accord started. In 2008 the company was formed by carrying on a pickup and drop-off curtain cleaning service for The Ohio State University Medical Center, and that service is still one of the five programs we run.

Washed, dried and ironed at Busch Court

Collected curtains come to our plant at 801 Busch Court in Columbus. They are washed, dried and ironed there, so they are ready to hang when your team puts them back on the track.

The routine is the one our team runs every week: curtains sorted into green laundry carts, loaded through the industrial washer drums, dried, ironed and covered in clear garment bags. Ironing is the last step before a curtain goes back in plastic.

Back on hangers, counted against the tag

Curtains are returned wrapped in plastic protection with hangers, ready to hang. Your staff open the cover, clip the curtain to the track and move to the next room.

The barcode on the woven label keeps the count straight between pickup and return, so the number that left your floor is the number that comes back, and every label names the room its curtain belongs to.
